The Radiometrix control product range offers solutions which are ideally suited to cable replacement and are available as a range of control ICs, integrated into our radio modules and as a range of application boards.

The range of ready-to-use control application boards provide straightforward wireless links for simple remote control applications with a minimum of engineering effort and no customer software input.

Our control products can be bought “as is” for integration into products, cased or fully customised to your specification to enable a plug and play installation. This range of industrial control products is available with parallel (switch) inputs and power relay type outputs, again in both module and add-on chip formats.

Product Overview

Control IC’s and modules

CTA88 is an 8 bit address, 8 bit data encoder and decoder combined in a single IC. This device is intended to be used with ISM band telemetry modules and can be operated in either Encode or Decode mode.
CTA88 uses 1kbps differential Manchester bit lancing with preamble and checksum. It permits a simple, one way link to be established, for simple remote control applications, with a minimum of effort and no customer software input. CTA88 is available in 28pin SO and DIL packages.

CXT and CXR Modules are control devices based on the existing LMT and LMR radios with built-in 16 bit address. A built-in two line link providing one latched and one reset/momentary output. These modules are available in any of the LM series frequencies or Tx power options.

One-way Point-to-point Family – CTA88


CTA 88 evaluation and application boards
A range of boards are offered intended for integration into industrial control products. Available as 2, 4 and 8 way bare boards and 2 or 4 way boards in tough aluminium extrusion cases. Opto isolated inputs and 8A relay outputs are standards. These tx and rx application boards are designed to allow easy evaluation of the CTA88 device in elementary jobs. They provide simple implementations, using either LMT/LMR or BiM footprint radio modules. Achieve longer range, with our high power radio modules such as the SFX2 and HMT2.

Bi-Directional Application Boards


BD118 Bi-directional RF Remote Control application boards.
These simple application boards use firmware based on the familiar CTA88 remote control systems to implement a bi-directional control link. A system consists of a master board (which initiates communication burst cycles) and a slave (which responds to them).

BL118 Bi-directional Low Power RF Remote Control application boards.
Low power version of the BD118. Very low (1mA) average current draw. 2 years operating life from D cells.

North American MURS Band Solutions


MCT1A, MCR1A
Targeted for the FCC MURS band in the USA, The MCT1A and MCR1A are a long range (1 watt transmit power) 4 input/output industrial RF Remote Controller system, operating in the unlicensed 154MHz MURS band (a USA/Canada allocation).

Mesh and Network products


M1144 Mesh Networked Alarm Control System
These simple application boards constitute a bi-directional Mesh networked remote control system. Each board has 1-input, 1-output, a 4-bit global address and a 4-bit Unit ID (hence “M1144”). A complete system consists of a master board (which initiates communication burst cycles) and up to 15 slave units. Any input activation on any slave (or the master) closes the relays on all units on the system This makes the M1144 an ideal platform for an alarm system.
Radiometrix also offer sophisticated “network” type products.

Secure control – K series


The Radiometrix K series of products, offers very secure, low cost one way remote control. Radiometrix supply ICs, modules, key fobs and application boards using code hopping secure authentication algorithms.

Economical Solutions


CNM Demo Boards
RF Remote Control application boards to demonstrate the capability of Radiometrix CNM Narrow band modems for a RF wireless remote control application. CNM2 is an economical, easy to use low power narrow band GFSK radio modem module that offers up to 50mW RF power 4800 baud rate data link with 3.3V TTL UART interface.


DXT/DXR application boards
These simple application boards use the firmware and signalling protocols of the existing CXT CXR module products, interfaced with any Radiometrix SIL pinout transmitters and receivers.

Legacy


Radiometrix still offer the original CTR44, CTR124 and CTR44 evaluation kit.

CTR44 Control44 (CTR44) is a 4 bit address, 4 bit data encoder and decoder combined in a single IC. This device can operate in either Encode or Decode mode. It uses 1kbps differential Manchester bit balancing with preamble and checksum.

CTR124 is a 4 bit address, 12 bit data encoder and decoder combined in a single IC. This device can operate in either Encode or Decode mode.

CTR44 evaluation Kit
Intended for initial tests or simple applications, this board provides logic level inputs and 8A relay outputs.
